STURGES Douglas James, known as Doug.
Passed away peacefully on March 11, 2012, aged 81.
Reunited with his Wife Mary.
You have left so many happy memories for all those hearts you touched, although you are no longer with us, you will be loved and missed always by your Family and Friends.
Funeral Service to take place on Thursday, March 22, 2012, at St Francis Xavier RC Church, Simpson Street, Oldbury, at 1.15pm, followed by Burial at Rood End Cemetery, Oldbury.
Floral tributes welcome or donations to St Mary's Hospice, 176 Raddlebarn Road, Selly Oak, Birmingham.

Such fond memories of a wonderful man, who was a very special and close friend of my dad, Phil Whitehouse, and mom. He had a great sense of humour, was never without a smile, and would do anything for anyone. He was instrumental in setting up the SFX Saints football teams and worked tirelessly for the youth of the area. he and Mary welcomed so many young people into their home.
As a friend to my dad, he was the only person, other than family, who visited him when he had Alzheimers, for which I am eternally grateful.
Eternal light Grant onto Him Oh Lord and let perpetual Light shine upon him, May he rest in Peace. Amen
