In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still, in my heart you hold you place that no one could ever fill, it broke my heart to lose you but you did not go alone for part of me went with you the day God took you home.

Dad
God looked around His garden and found an empty place, He then looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face, He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest, God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best.
He knew that you were [S]suffering, He knew you were in pain, He knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough and the hills are hard to climb, so He closed your weary eyelids and whispered peace be thine.
It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn't go alone Dad, for part of us went with you the day God called you home.
Love you always,
Cath and Simon.

What we would do to see your smile, to sit and talk for a little while, to have you back in the same old way, would be our best wish today.
To have a Dadlike you was the greatest gift of all.
