DAVIS John.
Passed away at The Manor Hospital, Walsall, on September 8, 2011, aged 73 years.
He will be sadly missed by Wife Valerie and all their Family.
All Friends will be welcome to attend the Funeral Service which will be held at StreetlyCrematorium, on Monday, September 19, at 12.30pm.
Flowers welcome.

It's a unique situation for me when I consider a good friend's father to be a friend as well. I shall miss the annual questions from John of what and why I was doing.
I remember from a young age of the somewhat intimidating tall man asking wasn't it time I went home when coupled with the infrequent corner shop owner who asked me what confectionary I liked and then providing a bag with the promise of not yelling anyone that he was being so generous.
In later times John was enthusiastic about the walking Paul and I took up, particular the South West Coast path and the last time I saw him we reviewed sone photos. As always he had a story for each photo we reviewed.
He was good with my grandmother Nellie when they had lunches together, I know my mom particularly appreciated that.
My overriding memory is when John had to take to a wheelchair. I was waiting in the kitchen behind the shop for Paul.
"Just because I'm in this doesn't mean I can't get you Andrew", he stated
"um, OK" I answered
"where your standing I can still run over your feet" he explained!
My heartfelt thoughts to all the Davis family.
