The Family of the late Bert would like to thank everyone for the cards, messages of sympathy and attendance at the funeral, where donations of œ505.32 were received, which will be divided between TheLingen Davies Appeal and St Michael and All Angels Church, Alberbury.

Our thanks to the Staff at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, Rev Val Tate who conducted such a beautiful Service, Richard Card who spoke cheerfully about Bert as a well known characterin the area and Aubrey Kirkham, Funeral Directors, for the care and attention given at this sad time.

A very special thanks goes to Bert's Neighbour and Friend June, for her time, patience and friendship.
