David George On April 7, 2024, passed away peacefully, surrounded by Family, at The Lady Forester Community Nursing Home, Much Wenlock.

David Wassell, M.B.E., of Sutton Heights, Telford, aged 83 years.

The beloved Husband of Doreen, the loving Father of Gary, Paul and Tina, Father-in-Law of Robert and Sarah, and the dear Grandad of Sophie, Ben, Samantha and Toby. Much loved and greatly respected within the community, David will be sadly missed by his Family, his Friends and Neighbours, by all former colleagues at The Telford Development Corporation, where he was a former Chief Landscape Architect, and by those he worked with as former Director of Garden Square Ltd.

Funeral Service at Telford Crematorium on Thursday, May 9 at 2.30pm.

Family flowers only by request please, but donations, which are to be divided between Parkinson's U.K. and the Severn Hospice (Telford) are being gratefully received, for which purpose a collection box will be provided at the Crematorium, or online at www.perryandphillips funerals.com
