Dad

It's a year already Dad since you were taken away.

I wish I'd have known, there was so much I wanted to say. How much I love you, admire you and miss you, would be just a few. We weren't to know you would be called to Heaven early, none of us knew. I just hope you are looking down and see how much we all miss you so much. But for now, until we meet again, I will hold on to the many memories and your touch.

Dad

Dad, the moment you slipped away from me a part of me went too. It feels like a jigsaw puzzle with a piece missing. It felt like you would be around forever, I feel like shouting from the rooftops what a wonderful Dad I had.

I rememberthe patience you had when helping me with my homework, the fun we used to have and how you made me feel safe. You had so many qualities and I am very proud to have had you as my Dad. Things are so different since you passed away, but I know you are always with me.

It may be a year since I lost you, but it only feels like yesterday. People had lost someone so talented when the time had arrived for you to go to another place.

Until we meet again, I will keep you close to my heart.
