Vera

formerly Mapp, nee Harding On February 23, 2024, peacefully at Oldbury Grange Residential and Nursing Home, Bridgnorth, following a long illness, Vera Gillie, of Bridgnorth, formerly of Worfield, Nr. Bridgnorth, and of Kinlet, Nr. Bewdley, aged 88 years.

Former Proprietor of Bradeney House Residential and Nursing Home at Worfield, and of Oldbury Grange Residential and Nursing Home at Bridgnorth.

The Wife of Dr Christopher Gillie, the loving Mother of Jillian, Michelle and Alison, Mother-in-law of Simon, the dear Nanny of Lillie, Will, Beth, Letisha, Oliver, Elliot and Milly, and the Great-Nanny of Evie, Darcie, Logan, Kalliope and Levi. Much loved and greatly respected within the community, Vera will be sadly missed by her Family, her Friends, by former Neighbours, former colleagues and by all those dearest to her.

Funeral Service at The Parish Church of St. Nicholas, Oldbury, Bridgnorth, on Monday, March 25 at 1pm, to be followed by Interment at Bridgnorth Town Cemetery.
