Clifford and Sandra Clifford Evans MBE and his Wife Sandra of Minsterley, celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary on Thursday, March 10. They were thrilled to receive a card and message from the Queen. In 1962, they married at Minsterley Congregational Chapel on a windy snowy day and had their reception at Snailbeach Village Hall. To celebrate this special occasion, they held a lunch for sixty guests at the same village hall on Saturday. Joe Evans, who was Clifford's best man was present, together with Cousins, Nieces and Nephews, close Friends and the couple's three Daughters and Sons-in-law, five Grandchildren and six Great-Grandchildren.
