Layla Jane Darling Layla Jane we have arrived at yet another year of missing you beyond words. Our sorrow of not being able to watch you grow into the wonderful young woman we know you would have been is as painful as it was the day you left us, at the age of 11 years old. It has not been true for us that time has healed our pain, and never will be.

We know that the best we can ever hope for is that maybe one day we will accept that we will never understand why you had to leave us all. But despite all our sadness, we love you more than any of us can explain and our memories of you are so very precious. We would never swap a single tear for the joy you brought into our lives when you were here with us and our pride at being your Nanna and Grandpa.
