Ernest Sydney Passed away peacefully after a long battle with Dementia on April 25, 2021, at St Georges Nursing Home, aged 84 years.

Beloved Husband of Judy, much loved Father to Nick, loved Father-in-law to Giao and adored Grandad to Amarinda, Nicholas and Anita in Australia and Step-Father to Andrew, Paul and Iain.

Ernest had a full and varied life serving in the British Army, reaching the rank of Captain in The Royal Signals and a Member of 2 Para/Airborne.

Due to global travel restrictions there will be a Private Cremation on Thursday, May 13. His ashes will be taken home to Scotland and at a later date there will be a celebration of his life.
