WEIR

Margaret Canning On April 25, 2020, peacefully at Innage Grange Residential Care Home, Bridgnorth, following a short illness, Miss Margaret Weir of Lavington Court, Underhill Street, Bridgnorth, aged 86 years.

Former Deputy Head- mistress of Castlefields Primary School, Bridgnorth. Daughter of the late William and the late Elizabeth Weir (former Mayor and Mayoress of Bridgnorth) and Sister of the late John Weir.

Margaret was much loved and will be sadly missed by her Sister Anna, her dear Friend Ruth, her Nephew Mark and Niece Judith and by all her Great-Nephews and Great-Nieces.

Due to the strict current Covid-19 pandemic regulations, a strictly private Funeral Service, for immediate Family mourners only, will be held at Bridgnorth Town Cemetery.

If you wish to pay your respects to Miss Weir, the cortege will travel along Bridgnorth High Street at 11.45am on Monday, May 11.

Donations can be made, which are to be divided between Serving in Mission and The Tearfund, or flowers if preferred, direct to the Funeral Directors, or online at www.perryandphillips funerals.com.

We knew Margaret very well for many years. Always the same, smiling and happy. Sorry to hear she has passed away at such a sad time when we cannot meet together to celebrate her life.
