To the family of Dr. Lewis Ingram

Norma Kean

11 April 2019
I was very saddened to recently hear of Dr. Ingram's passing several months ago. I first met Dr. Ingram in 1990 at the Janeway Hospital in St. John's NL where I was a staff nurse.Dr. Ingram was a quietly intelligent man, very respected, and a devoted Hematologist /Oncologist.He was thought of very fondly by patients, parents, medical and nursing staff.I will remember always some particularly kind actions of his. After his return to England, we were pleased to hear Dr. Ingram would continue to do locums at the Janeway, which he did for several years.Dr. Ingram spoke lovingly of his family often and was so proud of his sons and daughter. He liked to tell us about his new home and his woodworking projects and a glimpse of his life in Shrewsbury. I was last in contact with Dr. Ingram in late 2017 and so sorry for the loss of this dear man to your family. I hope you may find some comfort in knowing he will be remembered well and always in NL, Canada.

I know this is late but I have recently discovered that Dr. Ingram had passed away. I was secretary to Dr. Ingram Iwhile he was practicing at the Janeway Cild Health Centre in St. John's , Newfoundland, Canada. Dr. Ingram was well respected and and sought after for his expertise in both hematology and oncology. For his children I would like to tell you that he talked about you with such admiration and love. He always spoke of what you were accomplishing and where your studies were taking you. Hope you can cherish your memories and know that we are so sad to hear about your great loss. God Bless you all My kindest regards Pearl Vokey Tel 709-582-3797 Email: vokeyp@hotmail.com
