Alex, Anna, Lauren, Katie, Maisie and David, Denise and the Family of Steven Jones wish to express their sincere thanks to all Relatives, Friends, Neighbours and Colleagues forthe many cards, letters, emails, Facebook posts and other kind messages of sympathy, love and prayers received at this very sad and extremely difficult time, for the attendance of over 400 of you at his Funeral Service and for your donations, whichare being received for and will be divided between Macmillan Cancer Support and Highley First Responders, in excess of œ2,200 to date. Your wonderful support has been overwhelming and is greatly appreciated by us all.
We extend our special thanksto H.M. Coroners Officer for your guidance and support throughout this uncertain time, to the Paramedics and the Ambulance Service for all that you did for Steven on that dreadful day, to the Doctors and all the Staff at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital atBirmingham for your care of and kindness to him and to the Family throughout his stay with you and for all your efforts on his behalf, to the Bearers for the great dignity that your duties bought to the occasion, to all Members of Highley Cricket Clubfor the Guard of Honour as we left Church, to The Flower Shop and Inspired by Chelsea Florists in Bridgnorth for the beautiful floral tributes, to everyone who shared their memories of him with us for inclusion in the Ceremony and particularly to Coddy and to Steady for your very warm and witty personal contributions to the day, to all at Highley Working Mens Club for your very warm hospitality, for the excellent post Funeral reception catering and for looking after everyone so well afterwards andto the Revd. Val Smith and Organist Mr. Oliver Clark for leading us in a most positive celebration of the life and times of Steven Jones.
