We did not have a lot to do with Mansel but when we did he was gentle softly spoken but got his issues over. We fought a chicken factory campaign and he was the only one on the council who seem to be on our side about spoiling our lovely Shropshire countryside. They would not let us talk about others going up and fast. Our memories of Mansel will be the loss of a green issue campaigner of the best degree . We need more people with his conscious . God bless his memory.
