(Dickie) On March 25, 2021, peacefully at The Wheatlands Care Home, Much Wenlock, following a short illness, Dickie, formerly of Stretton Close, Bridgnorth and of Footbridge House, Tasley, aged 92 years.

The founder and former Managing Director of Roofing Construction Services Ltd. of Lye, Stourbridge, past Captain of Bridgnorth Golf Club, past President of Bridgnorth Lions and founding Chairman of Bridgnorth Colts F.C.

The Husband of the late Betty Day, Brother of Patrick and Terry, loving Father of Kevin, Rob and the late Mandy Richardson, Father-in-law of Rebecca, Lorraine and Rod and the dear Grandad of Katarina, Aedan, John, Mark, Heather and Ellie. Much loved and widely respected, Dickie will be sorely missed by all his Family, Friends and Staff at Wheatlands Care Home and at Brown Clee Care.

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic national emergency, a strictly private Funeral Service, for invited mourners only, will be conducted at The Wyre Forest Crematorium, Stourport on Severn.

A live webcast of the Ceremony is being arranged, details of which will be provided by the Family.

A celebration of the life and times of Dickie Day will be held at Bridgnorth Golf Club at a later date, when regulations permit.

If you wish to pay your respects to Dickie, the Hearse will leave from outside Bridgnorth Golf Club Clubhouse at 2.20pm on Friday, April 16 and will then travel via Northgate and Bridgnorth High Street.
