CHILDE

Roland Edmund Baldwyn

Esquire A Shropshire lad comes home to his roots.

Saturday, September 28, at 12 noon

An Important day for the Village of Kinlet in Shropshire and St John The Baptist Church.

Roland Edmund Baldwyn Childe Esquire, Lord Of The Manor and Patron Of The Living, whose Family has provided Lords of The Manor for almost 800 years, is returning to his place of birth. Although moving to the Channel Islands in 1973 in order to save Kinlet Estate, Edmund was never an absentee land owner, but like his ancestor The Flying Childe, was a great Agriculturalist, Farmer, and had at one time 3,000 sheep and a love of horses. He and his Wife planted thousands of trees over the years to carry on a tradition.

He will be sadly missed by Family and Friends but will surely rest in peace.
