SMITH (Laurencekirk)Peacef ully after a short illness, in the loving care of the staff at the Stroke Unit, Stracathro Hospital, on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, Alan John Brown Smith, aged 84 years, of High Street, Laurencekirk, (Past Master of Lodge St. Laurence). Dearly loved husband of the late Morag, loving and devoted father to Alison and Eileen, dear father-in-law to Craig, a special brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and a good friend to many, who will be sadly missed. Funeral service at Parkgrove Crematorium, Friockheim on Tuesday January 21, at 2.30p.m., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired will be gratefully accepted at the crematorium for the Stroke Unit at Stracathro  Hospital.
