MACIVER (Avoch) Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, on February 7, 2024, Rachel Elizabeth Maciver (Betty), aged 96 years, Gowans Place, Avoch (formerly of Easter Blairfoid Farm). Beloved wife of the late George, a much loved mother of Alec, Anita, Murd, Andy, Ooshie, Eileen and the late Lorna. Beloved granny and great-granny, also a dear mother-in-law, sister and aunty. She will be sadly missed by all. A celebration of Betty's life will be held on Thursday, February 15, at 1pm in Black Isle East Church, Rosemarkie; thereafter to Tore Cemetery. All welcome to attend, and please feel free to wear a splash of colour. Family flowers only, please. Donations in memory of Betty for Marie Curie and Black Isle Cares may be given at the service. Arrangements by John Fraser & Son of Lovat House, Dingwall.
