WHITTAKER
Eileen Doris Of Trentham Road, Wem and lately of Woodcroft Care Home, Market Drayton.
Passed away peacefully at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford on July 14, 2021, aged 87 years.
Much loved Wife of the late Bryan and Mum to David and Julie.
Funeral Service to take place at Emstrey Crematorium, Shrewsbury on Friday, August 13 at 1.15pm.
Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Alzheimer's Society, for which purpose a collection box will be provided at the Crematorium.

To David and Julie.
A memorable feisty lady who was instrumental in pushing the boundaries and expectations of all of her students. Also a great boss.
Known fondly by all that worked with her at both (previously known as ) The Katherine Elliot and The Robert Clive Special Care Schools) as "Whittaker."
I have more reason than most to thank her for support and efforts on behalf of my daughter Helen. Eileen taught her at Katherine Elliot and helped to ensure Helen moved into mainstream education, opening up the beginning of a successful life based on abilities not disabilities.
I also worked as a Nursery Nurse in Robert Clive Special Care when Whittaker was the Head of Unit.
