GORDON (Bruce James) Alice, Craig, Jill and their families would like to express their profound thanks to extended family, friends, neighbours, former colleagues, staff at Maggie's Highlands and the Highland Hospice Day Centre who have supported Bruce so well over his years of illness. We have been overwhelmed by all the cards and social media messages sharing kindness, thoughtfulness and happy memories of Bruce. For all the flowers and homebakes, we are grateful and for the generous donations to the Macmillan Suite too. We were very touched by all those who stood in the rain to pay their last respects and wave Bruce on his way. We would also like to express our gratitude and heartfelt thanks to Dr Mmeka and staff at Macmillan Suite, Raigmore Hospital and to Dr Bee and his colleagues at Culloden Surgery for their excellent care and attention. To Julie our Macmillan nurse especially, district and Marie Curie nurses, the out-of-hours palliative care team, you are all marvellous. Grateful thanks go to Angela at Daisy Rue, to William T Fraser and Son for their efficient attention to detail with arrangements and to Allan Dunbar for making Bruce's final farewell the celebration Bruce wanted.
