Jean Edith Sophie, Verity and Jamie and the Family of the late Mrs. Jean Onions wish to express their sincere thanks to all Relatives, Friends, Neighbours, former colleagues, former customers of 'Bromley's Florist's' of Bridgnorth and to The Mayor, fellow Councillors and all Staff of Bridgnorth Town Council for the many cards, letters, eMails, Facebook post's, text's and other kind messages of sympathy, love and prayers received at this very sad time, for the attendance of over 200 of you at her Funeral Service and for your donations to 'the Severn Hospice (Shrewsbury)' Your wonderful support has been greatly appreciated by us all.

We extend our special thanks to Mum's Doctors and to all the Staff at Bridgnorth Medical Practice for all your efforts on her behalf throughout her illness, to the Doctors and all Staff at the Severn Hospice at Shrewsbury for your care of and kindness to Mum and to the Family, throughout her stay with you and for the great dignity afforded to her in the closing hours of her life, to Mrs. Annette Nicholls for the really amazing floral coffin tribute, Mum would have been impressed, to everyone who shared their memories of Mum with us for inclusion in her Funeral Service and, particularly, to Bridgnorth Mayor, Councillor Ron Whittle, for your very personal and witty contribution to the occasion, to all at 'The Castle Hall Suite' in Bridgnorth for your warm hospitality afterwards and to Steve, Norma and their team from 'The Tudor Room' for the excellent post-funeral reception catering and to The Revd. Preb. Simon Cawdell, The Revd. Kate Cook and organist Dr. John Turnock for leading a most uplifting celebration of the life and times of Jean Onions, Mayor of Bridgnorth.
