MACDONALD (Inverness) Peacefully in the wonderful care of Culduthel Care Home, Inverness, on March 30, 2019, Donald (Donnie) Mac Donald, The Cedars, 18 Drummond Rd, Inverness, aged 85 years. The original and long time Area Manager of The Alliance Building Society, he also served The Inverness Building Society, and The Scottish Building Society during a long and successful career. An avid golfer, Donnie was a member of Inverness Golf Club for over 45 years and served as President from 2007-09. Donnie is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Margaret, proud father of sons Jeffrey, Gordon and Kevin, sister Maureen, doting grandfather "Grumpie" and great grandfather. Funeral service on Friday, April 12, at 1pm in the Funeral Home of William T. Fraser and Son, Culduthel Road, Inverness, thereafter to Inverness Crematorium. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only. Donations welcome at the service for The Woodlands Centre and Scottish SPCA or please forward to the Funeral Directors.
