Mrs Val Steward and the Family of the late Mr Chris Steward wish to express their sincere thanks to all Relatives, Friends, Neighbours, former Colleagues and former Customers for the many cards, letters, emails and other kind messages of sympathy, love and prayers received at this very sad time, for the attendance of so many of you at the Funeral Service and for your donations to The League of Friends of BridgnorthHospital.

Your support has been greatly appreciated by us all.

Special thanks are extended to Jonathan and all at Perry and Phillips Funeral Directors for your sympathy and professionalism, to his Doctors and to the Staff at Bridgnorth Medical Practice for all your efforts on his behalf over the years.

To the Doctors and all the Staff at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital NHS Trust for your care of and kindness to Chris and to the Family throughout his stay with you and for the great dignity afforded to him in the closing hours of his life.

To Carol Newsome who supported Val with the care of Chris in his last few months.

To Inspired by Chelsea Florists of Bridgnorth for the beautiful floral tribute, to everyone who shared their memories of Chris with us for inclusion in the Ceremony and to Ian, Helen, Robin, Charles, Martin and Gay for your very warm and fitting personal contributions to the Ceremonies, to all at The Down Inn at Chetton for your hospitality afterwards and for the excellent post Funeral reception catering, to the Church Organist Dr John Turnock and to all members of the Choir for supporting us in the Service and last but certainly not least, to our great Friend the Rev Preb Guy Pope for travelling up from London to conduct this Service and for leading us all in a most memorable celebration of the life and times of Chris Steward.
