R Millard & Son was founded in 1985 by Andrew and Shirley Holley with the help of Bob Millard who provided support to them both. The name derived from Andrew’s step father Bob a well-known and respected local character. In more recent years Trevor Holley (son) Carolyn Holley (daughter) and Ellie Holley (granddaughter) have all joined the business. It is a truly local family owned business which offers a private chapel of rest, preparation room and private mortuary, office and large car park, garages and workshop.
