Phillip Emery Funeral Directors are a unique and caring family-run business, who deliver a first class funeral service to Rugeley and the surrounding areas. The future will see Phillip Emery Funeral Directors expanding into the Stafford area, as the need for their professional services increases. Father and son, Mick & Phillip, are dedicated funeral directors with years of experience in the industry. Mick’s son, Phillip, gained his qualifications as an Embalmer after working for Carol Slater-Mason at Grafton Embalmer Services, for 5 years. He then spent 9 years working for West Midlands Largest Funeral Company as a fully operative Funeral Director, then a further 2 years working for a private and family-run Funeral Directors. His father, Mick Emery, spent 27 years running his own business in Rugeley. After retiring, he also worked for 3 years for a Large Funeral Company. Phillip’s dream was to one day become the proprietor of his own Funeral Directors. He and his father eventually found the Bow Street premises, recognising it as being a key factor in providing the best possible service. Combining their skills and experience, Mick & Phillip provide a caring, compassionate, dignified and alternative service to the local community.
