ROSE

Audrey Wilhelmina

MBE Died peacefully, aged 96 in Weybridge, Surrey on June 15, 2022.

Born in Belfast, long-term resident of Pattingham, Staffordshire, and Widow of Kenelm Henry Forshaw Rose. Willum is the lovingly remembered Mother to Stuart and Caroline and Grandmother to Elissa, Christopher, Amy and Charlotte.

Willum was both Chairman then President of South Staffordshire Conservative association for over 50 years, meeting many exceptional characters along the way.

She will be fondly remembered for her 'joie de vivre' along with her organisational skills and fund raising.

She was awarded the MBE by Queen Elizabeth II on June 11, 1988 for her political and charity work, which she proudly received with her Family in attendance.

Born in the same year as Queen Elizabeth and known for her similar temperament and character, Willum was strong, determined, clever, funny and kind, she will be greatly missed.
