Doreen, Stephen, Stuart and Jodie would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all our Relatives, Friends and Neighbours for the kindness and support shown to them after the very sad loss of Raymond.

The cards, flowers and loving messages of sympathy, as well as the overwhelming attendance at his Funeral gave us all much comfort at this difficult time. It is a true reflection of the wonderful sense of community spirit in Pontesbury and surrounding area and isgreatly appreciated by us all.

Special thanks must go to everyone at the Severn Hospice, the Pontesbury Community Nurses and Dr. Steve Edmunds for their help and support during Raymond's short illness, that he bravely endured, also to Reverend Shirley Small for the most dignified, uplifting Funeral Service, a fitting tribute to the man that Raymond was.

The kind donations at the Service amounted to œ1,400 and this will be divided between the Severn Hospice, Pontesbury Medical Practice and the Neo-natal Unit at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

Thanks also to Pughs, Funeral Directors for their help and professionalism at this sad time and to The Horseshoes Inn, Pontesbury for the catering at Minsterley Parish Hall.

Raymond's legacy and memory willlive on through all his Friends and Family and for this we are truly grateful and blessed.
