Mrs Linda Matthews, Karen, Julie, Andrew and the Family of the late Mr Derek Matthews wish to express their sincere thanks to all Relatives, Friends, Neighbours and former Colleagues from The West Mercia Constabulary for the many cards, letters, emails and other kind messages of sympathy, love and prayers received at this very sad and difficult time, for your attendance at the Funeral Service and for your donations to the Severn Hospice(Shrewsbury). Your support has been greatly appreciated by us all.

Special thanks to H M Coroners Officer at Hereford for your guidance and support at this very uncertain time, to Jim and all who participated in the Ceremony for your very personalcontribution s to the Ceremony, to the Bearers for completing your duties with such dignity, to Debra Atkinson for the beautiful floral tributes, to all at The Down Inn for your hospitality and for looking after everyone so well afterwards and to the Reverend Laura Hill and Organist Mr Oliver Clarke for leading us in such an uplifting celebration of Derek's life.
