Of Morda.
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 7, 2013, aged 81 years.
Beloved Husband of Myfanwy, loving Father and Father-in-law of Pearl and Paul and Craig and Trish and much loved Grandad to Katherine and Matthew.
Funeral Service at Morda Methodist Chapel, on Thursday, April 25, at 2pm, followed by Cremation at Pentrebychan Crematorium, Wrexham.
Family flowers only.
Donations if desired to Morda Methodist Chapel.

I miss all the old ones from my childhood
John and Barry and Den
With their thick black hair
Working in the woods and the mists
In their donkey jackets scented of sap and diesel
Playing and wrestling as a boy in their strong arms
Sensing the pulse of seasons as they drove around timberfalling
John had a green Austin van and pulled logs out on a D2 Caterpillar
And Dad my grandfather we all called "Dad"
Timberfallers spend so much time alone in wet woods
Working away in their sweat and muscle
Smothered in wood dust
All those 4 men I followed in their path and what a Path
To secret woods
