THOMAS
George Matthew George passed away peacefully. Aged 69. He will be lovingly missed by all his Family and Friends.
His Service will take place at St. Peter's Church Stanton Lacy on Wednesday, April 12 at 12 noon.
All Donations will be gratefully received and help support Severn Hospice & Myeloma UK.

I first met George when in the 80's, when I was a young geologist. He was a great mentor - patient and knowledgeable. Through the years it became evident that he just loved being a geoscientist and a family man. He never harboured any ambition for managerial grandeur and loathed bureaucracy and conformity. George said it as he saw it, which always brought great clarity and insight to others, including myself. He will be sorely missed by all - a great human being!!
