On January 19, 2013, peacefully in hospital, at Bridgnorth, following a long illness, Ken Hardwick of Westgate, Bridgnorth, aged 86 years.
The beloved Husband and best Friend of Fiona and a very dear Brother, Brother-in-law, Uncle and Great-Uncle. Much loved, Ken will be sadly missed by all his Family and Friends.
Funeral Service at The Parish Church of St Mary Magdalene, Bridgnorth, on Friday, February 1, at 11.30am, to be followed by Interment at Bridgnorth Town Cemetery.
Family flowers only by request please but donations for The League of Friends of Bridgnorth Hospital, are being gratefully received, for which purpose a collection box will be provided at The Church or online at perryandphillipsfune rals.comMr C C Adams

Hi Fiona and family, Ken and I joined the army in August 44 together at Canterbury and were allocated consecutive registration numbers which are still engrained! We saw the first aeroplane without propellers plus the devilish doodle bugs! We parted company after a posting to Nottingham - I went off to Italy and Austria and I think Ken went to India. It is regretted that we did keep in touch and I was upset to read of his passing. I think I did call on him at his shop in Northgate on several occasions. Unfortunately I will not make it to St.Mary,s - don't drive very far these days. I live on my own having lost my wife 25 years ago. My thoughts will be with you and all the family at this sad time.
