BARKER

Michael John Of Horsehay, Telford.

Passed away at home on March 23, surrounded by his Family.

He leaves behind his Wife, Barbara (Goodall), two Sons James (Mel) and Simon (Courtney) and two Grandsons (Jacob and Charlie).

Michael, who was born in Stoke-on-Trent in 1950, was predeceased by his Parents, Arthur and Jean (Toft) and his Brother, David.

After graduating from the University of Durham, Michael worked all of his life in local government, finishing as Head Town Planner for Telford and Wrekin.

He will be much missed by his Family and Friends.

The Funeral Service will be held at St. Lawrence Church, Gnosall at 11am on Monday, April 11, 2022.

Donations in lieu of flowers, mourners are invited to make donations to Cancer Research UK.
