Westgate, Bridgnorth. POWELL

Stephen Douglas Mrs. Susan Powell, Mark and Becky, Adam, Charles and Jake and the Family of the late Mr. Stephen Powell wish to express their sincere thanks to all Relatives, Friends, Neighbours, former Customers of W. Powell & Son and Colleagues from Bridgnorth Rotary Club and Bridgnorth 41 Club, for the many cards, letters, e-mails, Facebook posts, text's and other kind messages of sympathy, love and prayers received at this very sad time, for attendance of nearly 200 of you at his Funeral Service and for your donations, which are being received for and will be divided between Bridgnorth Historical Society and Bowel Cancer UK, in excess of £1,200, to date. Your wonderful support has been greatly appreciated by us all. We extend our special thanks to Deb and her fellow Community Nurses and to Lynn from the Severn Hospice for your care and kindness to him throughout his short illness, to all the outside Nursing Agencies for supporting us in nursing Stephen at home until the very end, which was just so important to all of us, to the Bearers for completing your duties with such dignity, to Will at Blooms Florists of Bridgnorth for the floral tributes, to Mr. Nicholas Young for your very warm and personal contribution to the occasion, to all at The George Hotel, Bridgnorth, for your relaxed hospitality afterwards and to The Reverend Edward Ward for leading us in a most wonderful Celebration of the Life and Times of Stephen. Thank you all.
