Mike, Tim and Louise and all Val's Family wish to express their heartfelt thanks for the kindness and support shown to them following Val's untimely passing on September 6 and for the many messages of sympathy and condolence received.

The Service of Thanksgiving for Val's life, held at The Shrewsbury United Reformed Church on September 19, was led by the Rev Tim Harwood and Rev Harry Edwards and the attendance by so many Friends, Neighbours, past and present, former Colleagues and fellow Charity Volunteers was very much appreciated.

Tributes were paid to her love and devotion to her immediate and extended Family and her outstanding contribution to the wider Community in so many ways.

Thanks to Organist Adrian Cleaton and Harpist Eleri Lloyd for the uplifting music and to the Ladies of the Church for arranging the refreshments following the Service.

Special thanks for your generous donations in Val's memory, which will assist the work of Shropshire MIND, a local charity she had supported over many years.

Thank you to Aubrey Kirkham, Funeral Directors and Staff for their efficient and caring attention before, during and following the Funeral.
