Four years today.

A picture of you I carry in my heart, I close my eyes to see it when times are hard, a memory of you I carry in my soul, I wrap it round me when the nights are cold.

If you ask me how I am,I'd say I'm fine but the truth is if you could read my mind, not a day goes by that I don't think about you.

Although you can't be here with me, we're truly not a part, until the final breath I take you're living inside my heart.

Gone is the face we love so dear, silent is the voice we love to hear. Too far away for sight or speech but not too far for thoughts to reach.

Sweet to remember him who once was here and who so absent is just as dear.

We lost a Father with a heart of gold, how much we love and miss him can never be told.
