Mrs Fiona Curwen and the Family of the late Mr Alan Curwen wish to express their sincere thanks to all Relatives, Friends, Neighbours, former Colleagues and former Customers of theformer Curwen's and Sons of Whitburn Street, Bridgnorth, for the many cards, letters, Mass cards and other kind messages of sympathy, love and prayers received at this very sad time, for the attendance of so many of you at his Funeral Mass and for yourgenerous donations, which are being received for and will be divided between The League of Friends of Bridgnorth Hospital and The British Heart Foundation. Your wonderful support has been greatly appreciated by us all.

We extend our special thanks toAlan's Doctors and to the Staff at Bridgnorth Medical Practice for all your efforts on his behalf throughout his illness, to Dr Suman Kundu and to all the Doctors and Staff at The Princess Royal Hospital N.H.S. Trust at Telford for your care of and kindness to Alan during his stay in hospital and for the great dignity afforded to him in the closing hours of his life, to the Bearers for completing your duties with such care, to The Flower Shop in Bridgnorth for the beautiful floral Coffin tribute ofyellow roses, I was very pleased, to everyone who shared their memories of Alan with us for inclusion in the Funeral Mass and particularly to his Nephews Keith and Robert for your very warm and witty personal reflections during the Service, to everyone at Bridgnorth Golf Club for your hospitality afterwards and for the excellent post Funeral reception catering and to Father Iain Griffiths, Organist Mr Tim Jordan, Soloist Mrs Jayne Davies and to all Members of St John's RC Church Choir for leading us ina most uplifting celebration of the life and times of Alan Curwen.
