Of Upton Magna, formerly of Bayston Hill.
Passed away peacefully at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital on May 6, 2017, aged 81 years.
Beloved Partner of Yvonne, much loved Father of Julian, Sam and Thom.
He will be incredibly missed by all his Friends and Family.
Funeral Service to be held at Emstrey Crematorium, Shrewsbury on Monday, May 22, 2017, at 2.45pm.
Family flowers only please but donations if desired to The Midlands Air Ambulance.

I am Roger Meredith and had known Phil initially as Monkmoor's rugby master when I played against his sides for the Priory. By chance I was lucky enough to know him socially years later when playing rugby for Shrewsbury 1st XV. At that time as the "baby" of the team I needed any support that I could muster and Phil, I think, took it upon himself to look out for me. He was a top man and we enjoyed a few beers everytime we met each other in the town's pubs. We never made anything of the difference in age borne out of being teammates. I am so sorry to learn of his passing. I loved his gravelly voice and his happy go lucky nature. Top man. Roger Meredith
