Mrs Lucy Lawrence, Andrea and Alistair, Sharron, the Family of the late Mike Lawrence and all the Family of the late Mr Alan Lawrence wish to express their sincere thanks to all Relatives, Friends, Neighbours and former Colleagues for the cards, letters, emails, Facebook posts and other kind messages of sympathy, love and prayers received at this very sad and most difficult time, for the attendance of so many of you at his Funeral Service and for your donations to The British Lung Foundation, totalling œ570 to date. Your support has been greatly appreciated by us all.

We extend our special thanks to Alan's Doctors and to the Staff at Broseley Medical Practice for all your efforts on hisbehalf throughout his illness, to all the outside Nursing agencies for your care of and kindness to him and for supporting us in nursing him at home until the very end, which was very important to all of us, to Mrs Nicole Hopkins for the beautiful floraltributes, to the Bearers for completing your duties with such care, to everyone who contributed their memories of Alan to us for inclusion in his Service, to all at Bridgnorth Golf Club for your warm hospitality, for the excellent post Funeral reception catering and for looking after everyone so well afterwards and to Civil Celebrant Mrs Christine Jolly for leading us in a most uplifting celebration of the life and times of Alan Lawrence.
