Mrs. Lynette Thompson and the Family of the late Mr. Peter Thompson wish to express their sincere thanks to all Relatives, Friends, Neighbours and former Colleagues for the many cards, letters, emails and other kind messages of sympathy, love and prayers received at this very sad and most difficult time, for the attendance of nearly 200 of you at his Funeral Service and for your donations to Asthma UK. Your wonderful support has been greatlyappreciated by us all.

We extend our special thanks to H.M. Coroners Officer for your support and guidance throughout this most uncertain time, to Colours Florists of Much Wenlock for the beautiful floral tribute, to the Bearers for completing your duties with such dignity, to Jonathan Edwards C.B.E., for your most personal tribute to Peter and to Mr. John Simpson, a Vice President of Wenlock Olympian Society, for delivering it so eloquently during the Service, to all who contributed their memories ofPeter to use for inclusion in the Ceremony, to all at The Raven Hotel in Much Wenlock for your warm hospitality afterwards and for the really excellent post Funeral reception catering and to the Revd. Matthew Stafford and Organist Mr. Brendon Quinn for leading us in a most uplifting Celebration of the life and times of Peter Thompson.
