Mrs Mary Shaw, Brian and Helen and the Family of the late Mr John Shaw wish to express their sincere thanks to all Relatives, Friends, Neighbours, former Colleagues and members of the wider Farming Community for cards, letters, emails and other kind messages of sympathy, love and prayers received at this very sad time, for your attendance at the Funeral Service and for your donations, which are being received for and will be divided between The Midlands Air Ambulance and Cancer Research UK.

Your wonderful support has been greatly appreciated by us all.

We extend our special thanks to his Doctors and to the Staff at Bridgnorth Medical Practice for all your efforts on John's behalf throughout the years, to the Doctors and all Staff at The Princess Royal Hospital NHS Trust at Telford for your care of and kindness to John throughout his stay with you and for the great dignity afforded to him in the closing hours of his life, to the Bearers for completing your duties with such dignity, to Wild at Heart Florists of Cleobury Mortimer for the amazing floral Coffin tribute, to all who contributed their memories of John to us for inclusion in the Ceremony and particularly to Stephen for your very warm and witty personal reflection of him, to all at The Down Inn at Chetton for your kind hospitality, the excellent post Funeral reception catering and for looking after everyone so well afterwards and to theRev Terry Mason and Organist Mrs Teresa Davies for leading us in a most uplifting Celebration of the life and times of John Shaw.
