BRUCE Anthony John (Tony) Also fondly known as Ant Of Ludlow, formerly of Bhylls Lane, Castlecroft, retired Car Sales Executive at Charles Clark and former 8th Wolverhampton Scout Leader. Passed away peacefully in Ludlow Hospital on February 4, 2012, aged, 69 years. Beloved Husband of Pauline. An adored Dad and Grandad. Loved and so dearly missed by all his Family and Friends. Cremation Service to take place at Shrewsbury Crematorium, on Tuesday February 14, at 10.15am, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at St John's Church, Ludlow at 1pm. Family flowers only please. Kind donations received in Tony's memory will be divided between The League of Friends at Ludlow Hospital (Dinham Ward) and Macmillan Cancer Care. The Fruit Specialist

Wigley's Field Allotments Association remember Tony with great affection. Acting as Chairman for 3 years, and making a great effort to keep the site tidy and the Association viable, he was a great asset to the gardening fraternity. His business skills came to the fore in the work done for the application for an improvement grant.
However, his horticultural skills were well known particularly in growing soft fruit. Those of us new to the art and science of `fruiticulture` learned a lot from Tony - even though he claimed no particular expertise, he knew how to do it.
The Allotment community will be saddened by the loss of Tony, and a good friend will be missed.
