Alf and Barbara, Des and Annie, Mary and Andy and the Family of the late Mr Roger Groves wish to express their sincere thanks to all Relatives, Friends and Neighbours for the many cards, letters, emails and other kind messages of sympathy, love and prayers received at this very sad and most difficult time, for the attendance of so many of you at the Funeral Service and for your donations, which are to be divided between Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Support.

Your support has been greatly appreciated by us all.

Special thanks to his Doctors, to the Staff at Bridgnorth Medical Practice and to the Staff at Bridgnorth Hospital for your wonderful care and kindness throughout his illness, to the Bearers for completing your duties with such dignity, to Sarah Ball for the beautiful floral tributes, to Alf for your warm and very witty recollection of Roger during the Address, to all at Bridgnorth Town FC for your hospitality afterwards, to Steve and Norma for the excellent post Funeral reception catering but also for your friendship to Roger over the years and to the Revd Marjorie Brooks and Organist Dr John Turnock for leading us in a most comforting Service.
