Doreen, Ann, David and Julie would sincerely like to thank all Family, Friends and Neighbours for their kindness, support and messages of sympathy received on the sad loss of Doug.

Thanks also to everyone for attendance atthe Funeral, for the kind donations, amounting to œ250, in aid of The Injured Jockey's Fund, also to Chris Eldon Lea for conducting the Funeral and to Pete Jones of Frank Painter & Sons Funeral Directors for all his help and professionalism in organisingeverything .
