Passed away peacefully after a illness bravely fought at Cloverfields Nursing Home, on Thursday, December 4, 2014, aged 91 years.
Beloved Husband of the late Phyllis, dear Brother of Jeanand Brother-in-law of Edgar, loving Stepfather of Val, Chris, Robyn and Graham.
Committal Service at Emstrey Crematorium, Shrewsbury, on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at 11am, followed by a Thanksgiving Service at St. Peter & St. Paul's Church, Wem, at12.30pm.
Family flowers only please.

Sid lodged with my Mum and Dad, Phyllis and Percy Edwards of Lowe Hill Road, for several years when I was young. He was a good friend to them both and they thought the world of him. He kept in contact with my Mum after my Dad died and used to take things out of his garden for Mum and she would make him a cake or something. I remember him being on his bike and also I remember his black car, as he used to sometimes take us to visit my Grandmother in hospital. He will be very much missed in Wem.
