Of Linden Lea, Penybont, passed away on September 26, 2014, aged 89 years, Husband of the late Dot, who spent most of his life farming in the Penybont area.

The Funeral Service was held at Llandegley Church on October 10, where there was a large attendance. The Service was conducted by Rev A Perrin, the tribute was given by Dean Geraint Hughes and a reading by Nephew David Lewis. The Bearers were Colin Davies, David Bayliss, Sean Tranter, David Lewis, David Owen and John Hughes.

Donations amounting to œ1,700 were mainly distributed between the Charles Renton Unit, The Wales Air Ambulance and Llandegley Churchyard Fund.

Douglas, Elizabeth and Margaret wish to thank all Relatives, Friends and Neighbours for their kindness at this sad time.

Special thanks to Doctors and Staff at Llandrindod Wells Surgery and Hospital for their excellent care and support.
