Sad, but what an impression and a legacy!

I've only just come across this 6 years later. Thankyou very much Mr and Mrs Yapp for been apart of my schooling and being such a positive influence. You were both very popular, forward thinking and had such a young outlook for a pair of "Teachers". Geography and Humanities were so interesting with you two teaching. Fondly remembered memories of field studies at Arthog in 1976, you and Burton Borough have given me a love for Arthog and the outdoors, I've returned twice in my 50's! I remember clearly getting a deserved slap a cross the backside by Mr Yapp for being noisey after lights out 😂. Such great times, thankyou so much for the inspiration, uplifting teaching and the fantastic memories. Condolences and much respect. Richard.
