David John

Died peacefully on Friday, May 16, 2014, at home with his Family at his side, aged 70 years, following a valiant battle with Prostate Cancer, David leaves a Wife of over 50 years Jacqueline, his Sons Mark and Stephen and Daughters Suzanne and Elizabeth, David was also blessed with two Grand- children, David and Emma.

Born and raised in Shrewsbury, the Son of Walter and Doris Owen, David is survived by his loving Sister Patricia Ann Taylor.

David had a very fulfilling professional life experience but his focus was always centred on his Children, this focus was the reason David and Jackie decided in 1975 to explore the opportunities available in Toronto, Canada, after 25 great years in Canada the appeal of Shrewsbury wastoo strong and they returned to enjoy their retirement.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 23, 2014, at 9.30am, at Emstrey Crematorium, Shrewsbury.

In lieu of flowers the Family would greatly appreciate donations to The Hospice at Home Group, who provided exemplary support for our Family.
