On August 25, 2011, peacefully at her home, in the presence of her Family, following an illness borne with great courage, dignity and humour, Eve Houghton, of Benthall, Broseley, aged 58 years.

Custodian of Benthall Hall for 7 years.

The beloved Wife of Patrick, loving Mother of Sophie and Cassandra, dear Nanny of Bethany and devoted Daughter of Florence and the late Les Burton, of The Round Hill Farm, Bridgnorth. Much loved, Eve will be sadly missed by all her Family and Friends.

Private Cremation Ceremony.

A Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving for Eve's life will be held at The Church of St Bartholomew, Benthall, on Monday, September 5, at 2.30pm.

No flowers by request please but donations for the Severn Hospice (Telford) are being gratefully received, for which purpose a collection box will be provided at the Church.
