Of Kempton, Lydbury North, formerly of The Post Office, Bishop's Castle, retired Postmaster of Knighton and Rhayader, passed away peacefully at home, on April 16, 2014, aged 74 years.

Rod battled with cancer for nearly two years and his bravery and courage with coping with this disease has been an inspiration to us all.

Loving Husband to Marjorie, much loved Father to Julie, Father-in-law to Malcolm, dear Grandad to Emma and Gary and Great-Grandad to Owen.

He will be greatly missed by his Family and Friends.

Please wear something colourful.

Funeral Service at St Swithin's Church, Clunbury, on Wednesday, April 30, at 2pm.

Family flowers only please but donations would be appreciated for St Swithin's Church and Macmillan Cancer Support.
