On May 22, 2011, peacefully in hospital at Shrewsbury, following a long illness borne with great courage, dignity and humour, Sylvia Gilbert, of Eardington, near Bridgnorth, aged 75 years. The beloved Wife of John, loving Mother of Paul, Mother-in-law of Ronnie, dear Nanny of Samantha and Rhonan, special Sister of Ken, Brian and the late Gillian and a Sister-in-law and Aunt, who was much loved and will be sadly missed by all her Family and Friends.

Funeral Service at The Parish Church of St Peter, Chelmarsh, on Thursday, June 2, at 1.30pm, to be followed by Cremation at Telford Crematorium.

Family flowers only by request please but donations for the Severn Hospice are being gratefully received, forwhich purpose a collection box will be provided at the Church.
